In 2023, all Social Platforms exploded with new Digital Marketing opportunities like Affiliate Marketing and MMR. As with all new things, you have a lot of people trying to make a quick buck on the side, and you have people who actually see how these new opportunities will help their business grow in an authentic and genuine way. So how can you make digital products work for you?
If you are a fitness trainer, a lifestyle coach, or a nutrition expert, or anyone who would love more time freedom and who’s looking to explore the possibility of creating and selling digital products, let me help you out with these nine steps to get you started! Especially number 9 is, in my opinion, the golden ticket toward passive revenue.

Before diving into product creation, identify a specific niche within the health and wellness industry. It could be fitness plans, healthy recipes, or stress-relief techniques. Knowing your audience intimately will guide your product development and marketing strategies so you can create the perfect offer. Remember your WHY. Who are you serving and why do you want to serve them. This will make all the difference when you are creating your digital product.
Use your knowledge and develop valuable and engaging content that resonates with your target audience. This could include e-books, video courses, recipe guides, workout routines, or meditation sessions. Ensure your content is well-researched, visually appealing, and provides real value to your audience. Don’t forget to not only teach but hand out tools to make the learning curve a little easier.
Consider the best format for delivering your content. E-books are great for written content, while video courses work well for visual and interactive experiences. Interactive PDFs or membership platforms are a great way to engage with your audience and help them move forward on their journey. I recommend starting with a low-ticket product anywhere between 27 and 97 euros, and once this is selling like crazy, scale up to a membership platform.
Establish a strong online presence through a professional website and active social media profiles. Consistent branding across platforms helps build trust with your audience. Use platforms like Instagram, YouTube, or a blog like this to share valuable content related to your niche. I see Instagram as the handshake where your audience can get to know you. From there, you want to invite them either to your store or on your website depending on your strategy. I love a beautiful website, and when I come across one, I instantly feel trust, knowing I can buy from this person without feeling sold too.
Implement passive income strategies by offering your digital products on platforms that handle transactions and delivery automatically like Stan Store. Utilize e-commerce platforms, digital marketplaces, or membership sites that allow for seamless transactions and delivery, freeing up your time for marketing and further product development or just sipping on iced tea lying on the beach.
Develop a sales funnel to guide potential customers through the buying process. Offer free valuable content (called a lead magnet or freebie) to attract leads, then nurture them through email marketing campaigns, leading to your digital product offerings. Upsells, cross-sells, and limited-time promotions can enhance your sales funnel. But don’t forget the golden rule of 3. First, you SERVE SERVE SERVE before you SELL.

Social proof adds credibility and can significantly impact the decision-making process for potential customers. These days you don’t have to have a large account of followers; you just have to have an engaged amount of followers.
To create an engaged following, maintain an active presence on social media and engage with your audience. Respond to comments, answer questions, and seek feedback. Building a community around your brand fosters trust and loyalty. This is so super important if you want to grow and build a trustworthy brand. Your audience needs to know you’re real and that they can count on you when push comes to shove.
